Themself is a collection of contemporary fiction, poetry<\/a> and life writing<\/a> reflecting on James Kemp’s life experiences as a part-time student, father, cub scout leader, school governor<\/a> and full-time project manager in his forties.<\/p>\n

As well as the stories and poetry he wrote there is commentary on how and why they were written. He shares notes on how to build worlds, create characters, tell stories, write poetry and fiction. There are also some writing exercises for you to try yourself if you feel inspired by Themself!<\/p>\n
